 You can expect a doula from A Nanny for U to be a reassuring surprise. We provide nonbiased, experienced and professional postpartum care providers who maintain a personal yet professional code of ethics founded by A Nanny for U. Our doulas are hospital and medical-friendly and will support and encourage the relationships you have with your doctors and medical professionals. Respecting your parenting style, judgment and individual needs are our doula's top priorities.
We're confident that you'll find our doulas incredibly supportive, flexible and understanding.
We continually refine our procedures, screening process and applicant qualifications to provide postpartum care providers that meet our extremely high standards. All of our qualified doulas must be willing to undergo background and security checks as well as a review of their driving records. In addition, qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must complete appropriate doula training
- 3 professional doula references from non-relatives
- Must have own car with full coverage auto insurance
- Must successfully complete required CPR class
- Must be a non-smoker
- Proof of legal US citizenship
- Must be over 18 years old
- High School graduate
We have an open book policy with all of our families; therefore, all of the information we obtain on your doula is yours to review at any time.
