A friendly, bright, and easygoing family in the Cherry Hill/Squire Park area of Seattle is seeking a professional, nurturing nanny to become a valued extension of their family and care for their sweet 7-month-old daughter. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced infant nanny who enjoys being actively involved in a child’s day while also appreciating a family that is collaborative, communicative, and laid-back. With both parents working outside of the home, the nanny will have the opportunity to take ownership of the day and create a fun, engaging routine for their daughter.

Their little girl is sweet, friendly, and happy, and they would love for her days with her nanny to include plenty of age-appropriate activities, outings, and opportunities to explore the world around her. They value a healthy, consistent routine and are particularly happy with her current sleep schedule and ability to sleep independently, which they would like their nanny to help maintain as she grows.
Both parents are intelligent and analytical in their professional lives, but at home they are warm, approachable, and easygoing. Both parents have demanding jobs and are out of the home, so reliability, consistency, and stability is important! Their parenting philosophy values clear boundaries, encouraging independence, and allowing for natural consequences when appropriate. They are looking for a nanny who can thoughtfully support their approach while also bringing their own ideas, experience, and personality to the role.

Responsibilities Include:
- Creating and maintaining consistent daily routines while remaining flexible
- Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities with an emphasis on developmental milestones & stages
- Baby meal preparation & introducing foods
- Baby laundry
- Restocking children’s supplies and helping keep their space organized.
- Tidying the kitchen and loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Marinating clean, organized play areas
- Washing and sanitizing bottles, pump accessories, etc.
- Taking initiative, anticipating household needs, and working collaborative as part of the team.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional childcare and/or nanny experience
- 3 long-term childcare references
- CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
- Driver’s license
- Good understanding of developmental milestones and stages
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability and desire to make a long-term commitment

SCHEDULE: Tuesday-Friday 7am-6pm (4 hours of OT guaranteed)
