Five Seattle Holiday Events for Kids

  1. ZOO LIGHTS (Tacoma) – If you haven’t experienced the magic of the zoo at night, this year is your year! Head over to Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma to experience the zoo at night.   1. REINDEER FESTIVAL (Issaquah) – Haven’t gotten the chance to visit Santa this year with your kids? Well now you can visit Santa AND his reindeer’s at the Issaquah Reindeer Festival! This event will be open from now until December 23rd. Your kiddos can meet Santa, try out his sleigh, feed his reindeer’s and enjoy a story time with an elf!   1. NIGHT HIKE (Lewis Creek Park) – Grab your family, a pair of athletic shoes and a cup of warm hot chocolate for this exciting and FREE event! When the sun goes down, Lewis Creek Park will come alive with lights and people! You can walk with the ranger and learn more about nature at night. Preferred ages, 5 and older.   1. PATHWAY OF LIGHTS (Green Lake) – Make your evening walk/run a little more exciting this weekend! This Saturday night, the biking/walking path around Green Lake will be lit with a warm glow of luminarias. More information at seattle.gov.

 

  1. MOVIE NIGHT: THE SANTA CLAUSE (Snohomish) – Bring your blankets and snugglies for a movie, snacks and indoor snowball battles. This FREE event will be from 6:00pm- 8:30pm. More information at facebook.com/christmasatthefarmdairyland.
