Kirkland Infant Nanny

Welcoming Kirkland family is seeking a confident, professional nanny to provide nurturing, child-focused care for their 10 month old. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who is looking to grow alongside a loving family in a long-term, multi-year role as they are expecting a second child in the fall! Care will remain primarily focused on their 10-month-old for the first few months after the baby is born. The ideal candidate is warm, engaging, dependable, and passionate about supporting a child’s development through each exciting stage of early childhood.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident, active, and a proactive nanny with strong communication skills who enjoys creating a nurturing, engaging environment while building a lasting relationship with the family.

About the Family: This family values open communication, consistency, and a calm, structured environment. They appreciate a teaching-minded approach, including Montessori-style learning, and place a strong emphasis on fostering their 10-month-old’s skill development, independence and confidence through respectful communication and intentional engagement. They are looking for a nanny who will maintain routines and schedules while thoughtfully supporting their daughter as an individual person. While not required, they would love someone who is open to travel 1-2 times a year.

The family also shares their home with two cats and one dog, so a love for animals, comfort around pets, and no pet allergies are a must.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning age-appropriate activities for both children (reading, music, sensory play, outings, etc.)
  • Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
  • Children’s laundry, dishes, and maintaining tidy play spaces
  • Creating a consistent, structured, and nurturing daily rhythm

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional childcare experience (infant experience required)
  • 3 long-term childcare references
  • CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
  • Ability and desire to commit long-term

Perks:

  • Guaranteed hours
  • Paid time off
  • Medical Stipend
  • Legal pay in accordance with WA state labor laws

If you are a warm, self-directed nanny who brings genuine care, confidence, and joy to your work, we would love to connect with you!
