Their son is social, active, and energetic, and they want him to have plenty of opportunities to explore, play, learn, and experience new things through age-appropriate activities and adventures. Whether it’s getting outside in nature, visiting a local park, enjoying a sensory activity, reading together, or finding a new way to engage his curiosity, the ideal nanny will be excited to keep him active and engaged!
The family’s parenting approach emphasizes distraction and redirection, reasonable boundaries, and offering choices to help their son build confidence and independence. Consistency and communication are important to them, and they are hoping to find a nanny who can confidently support their parenting style while bringing their own creativity and expertise to the role. Responsibilities Include:
- Creating and maintain consistent daily routines while remaining flexible
- Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities with an emphasis on outdoor play and child led learning
- Children’s meal preparation
- Family laundry
- Restocking children’s supplies and helping keep their space organized.
- Tidying the kitchen and loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Marinating clean, organized play areas
- Washing and sanitizing bottles, pump accessories, etc.
- Taking initiative, anticipating household needs, and working collaborative as part of the team.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional childcare experience (infant experience required)
- 3 long-term childcare references
- CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
- Ability and desire to commit long-term
