It started with a vision in 1994 by owner Rebecca Dyk, who combined years of real-world nanny experience with a higher level of service. She created A Nanny For U, Seattle’s premier nanny agency.

Location: North Redmond, Redmond, WA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week guaranteed)
Salary: $35-$40/hr
Start Date: February 3rd, 2025
Benefits: Healthcare stipend, guaranteed hours, vacation & holiday pay
About the Role:
We are seeking a loving, nurturing, and cheerful full-time nanny to care primarily for a 6-month-old infant and occasionally for a 4-year-old when out of school. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with young children, thrives in a structured environment, and is proactive in their approach to childcare.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and engaging care for the infant.
Occasionally care for the 4-year-old if home from school.
Prepare and serve meals for the baby.
Light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning up after meals and occasional baby laundry.
Assist with running the dishwasher and maintaining a tidy environment.
Be flexible for occasional overtime or overnight care when the mother is traveling for work.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years of stable nanny experience with strong references.
Certifications: Current CPR & First Aid certification.
Substantial experience caring for infants is a must.
Early childhood education background is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, tidy work style.
Comfort around pets (household includes two cats).
Extensive knowledge in infant/toddler development and child rearing.
Ideal Candidate:
Warm, reliable, and professional.
Cheerful and nurturing with a love for working with children.
Patient and proactive, with the ability to foster a safe and positive environment.
Punctual and flexible to meet the family’s needs.

Born and raised in Belgrade, MT, Lilly brings her hardworking spirit and creative energy to A Nanny For U. Growing up on a farm, she spent her days riding horses, wrangling cattle, and staying active in 4H and sports like basketball, volleyball, and tennis.
By 22, Lilly had already started her own landscaping company, showcasing her passion for designing fun and hardworking outdoor spaces. Now, she’s bringing that same dedication and creativity to caring for families in Montana!
