Who We Are

Hard work, determination and a unique ability to discern people were all gifts that Rebecca inherited from her entrepreneurial parents. Raised in the city, she broke the mold and defected to the country where she now runs a small black Angus cattle ranch.

At the age of 22, as a professional nanny herself, Rebecca Dyk had an insider’s view into the needs of both families and nannies. Many hard-working families (including her own doctor!) so badly needed quality support but half-hearted matching services were not cutting it. The frustration for families and the need for a reliable, professional solution was glaring. So in 1994, Rebecca launched A Nanny for U and started offering unprecedented qualified and trustworthy in-home care in the Seattle area.

When she’s not making matches for families and nannies across Seattle, she’s making memories with her family riding horses or running the ranch in the country.

While Rebecca loves wearing cowboy boots, she refuses to give up her city style, faithfully visiting Starbucks and Nordstrom.

Born in Dallas, TX, Hayley, and her family moved to Maple Valley, WA where she grew up and went to school. She graduated from Western Washington University with her BA in Political Science. Hayley and her fiancé now live in Milwaukee, WI where they continue to remodel and furnish homes, bringing out her dream of interior designing, and they rent their units as Airbnb’s as well as midterm for to travel nurses and temporary housing. While she no longer lives in Seattle, she continues to be a part of our team here anyway she can! 

Ellie was born in Seattle and raised in Ellensburg. She is now a dog mom to a Saint Bernard and an Aussie mix with her partner in Montesano, WA. During her free time, she enjoys live music, festivals, spending time with cousins, and cooking. As Rebeccas oldest daughter, Ellie has watched A Nanny for U grow over the last 22 years. She is so excited to finally be able to apply her understanding of the company as a recruiter!

Sara grew up on a farm in Ellensburg, WA, where she now has her own farm with her husband and three kids. During the holiday season you can find Sara and her family in Wedgwood at their pumpkin patch and Christmas Tree Farm! Between homeschooling, ranch life and working, Sara enjoys riding horses, cooking, and hiking.

Mikayla was born and raised in Ellensburg and graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing. Mikayla now lives in Buckley, WA with her partner and cat. Outside of work Mikayla enjoys going on hikes around Mt. Rainer, traveling and trying out all sorts of arts and crafts.

Teresa Maston is a dedicated individual with a passion for learning and personal growth. Growing up in Bellevue and now residing in Puyallup with her two boys and wife, she values both family and education. As a student at the University of Washington Tacoma campus, she is working toward a BA in Law and Policy, which reflects her interest in understanding and impacting the legal landscape. Her love for reading and academic work, often seen with a book or computer in hand, shows her commitment to her studies. With nearly two decades of experience in customer relations, Teresa likely has strong communication and problem-solving skills that she wishes to apply in her future career.

Born and raised in Belgrade, MT, Lilly grew up on a farm riding horses and wrangling cattle. Growing up she participated in 4H and various sports such as basketball, volleyball, and tennis. By age 22 she started a small landscaping company passionate about coming up with fun, creative, and hard working designs. When Lilly’s not working, she enjoys all activities in the great outdoors with her fur baby, Miley.
